As required by N.J.A.C. 13:36-9.7: “In most areas of the country, no state or local law requires that you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries ask that you have such container to prevent the grave from sinking. Selection of either a burial vault or a grave liner will satisfy this requirement.
