Obituary Carter Dean Paden the son of the late Louise Moore and the late Bill Moore was born December 5th, 1955 in Newark, NJ. On September 27, 2010 at New Vista Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Newark, NJ God’s Guardian Angels called him home.
In his own words “To my family and friends, this journey has ended for me and all too soon for many, but I was tired and prayed for this day. I have touched my lives and many of you have touched my life as well. Remember me not for the man I was, but for the man I became, let your hearts not be troubled because I am still here in the sky, the ocean, the win or a twinkle in your eye. “Carter” aka Lateef spent 28 years with the love of his life “Patricia May” who he adored dearly. Through this union they had three lovely daughters. For many years he was employed as a Paver and Landscaper.
He was a man of dignity pride and honor. “Carter” was well known by many in community. He also was the type of man that was not afraid to speak his mind and take charge of any situation. When things had to be done “Carter” was a man anyone could call on whether it was big or small.
At his bedside was Patricia May (love of his life), Eugina May (mother-in-law), Mecca and Amirah May (daughters).
He leaves to cherish his memory: his companion and friend, Patricia May of many years; four daughters, Sharonda kingsberry, Mecca, Amirah and Damika May; three sons, Antwan Kingsberry, Karseem Paden and Jermar May; a sister, Rachel Moore; a brother, Jeffery Moore; grandsons, Craig Bradley, Jermar May-Howard; Zai’eair May Warner, Jah’mir Graves, Amir May, Fahrod Mary, Makie May, D’vonte Washington, Dejan Kingsberry, Kyri Paden and Ameere Paden; granddaughters, Tanaziah May, Katina May-Howard, Imani May, Shajada May-Hordge, Samiyah Graves, Denasia Brown, Deaira Brown and Shakiyah May; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lateefah May. |

We love you Carter “Lateef”, but God loves you best.
“Really Gonna Miss You” Pat, Mecca, Amirah, The May family and The Paden family. |
